Animal rescuers mentioned they braved tough seas and highly effective winds to free a humpback whale entangled in fishing gear off the coast of Australia throughout what they described as one of many season’s tougher operations.

The Sea World Foundation mentioned a rescue workforce responded off the coast of New South Wales after receiving experiences of a whale in misery.

Drone video confirmed a thick rope wound tightly across the mammal’s tail, limiting its capacity to maneuver and leaving it in what rescuers described as a compromised state.

Despite battling gale-force winds and crashing waves, the crew says they have been in a position to minimize the whale free in simply over an hour.
