Russia might scrap smoke-belching, disaster-plagued plane service Admiral Kuznetsov as a result of Putin can’t afford it anymore
The Russian navy is eyeing plans to scrap its final remaining plane service, which has been plagued for years with disasters and dear repairs, in accordance with state media.
The Russian navy and the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) are in talks on whether or not it’s price restoring the broken Admiral Kuznestov, a rusted Cold War-era hulk whose repairs would value greater than $250 million — a big price ticket for President Vladimir Putin to pay whereas nonetheless operating his meatgrinder conflict in Ukraine.
