Two individuals, together with a suspect, are useless after a mass stabbing on a First Nation reserve within the central Canadian province of Manitoba.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) mentioned Thursday a minimum of six individuals had been in hospital after the assault on Thursday on the Hollow Water First Nation, about 200 kilometers (125 miles) northeast of the provincial capital, Winnipeg.

Health officers mentioned two victims had been airlifted to Winnipeg, whereas others had been taken by floor ambulance.
