
South Korean President vows help to over 300 Koreans arrested in immigration raid at Georgia Hyundai manufacturing facility
South Korean President Lee Jae Myung ordered all-out efforts on Saturday to swiftly reply to the arrests of lots of of the nation’s residents in a US immigration raid on a Hyundai Motor automobile battery manufacturing facility.
Foreign Minister Cho Hyun mentioned the federal government has arrange a workforce to reply to Thursday’s arrest of over 300 Koreans on the facility within the southern state of Georgia and that he might go to Washington to satisfy with officers if wanted.
“I am deeply concerned. I feel heavy responsibility for the arrests of our citizens,” Cho instructed an emergency authorities assembly.
