As overtourism continues to develop right into a major problem, the summer time journey season has European locals preventing for seaside actual property. 

Local tourism has fallen in Spain by 800,000 individuals — whereas overseas tourism has seen a rise of 1.94 million guests, in accordance with The Associated Press (AP).

Spaniard Wendy Davila informed AP she misses the times of her childhood holidays visiting Alicante on the Mediterranean.

“Now you don’t go on [vacation] wherever you want, but wherever you can,” stated Davila.

She added, “Prices have risen outrageously. The whole Spanish coast is very expensive.”
