It’s an “Ode to Joyriding.”

Drivers in a single stretch of freeway within the United Arab Emirates are in for a musical deal with once they cruise over cleverly-installed rumble strips — a rendition of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.

The motive is the spacing of the strips on a half-mile part in the suitable hand lane of the E84 freeway in Fujairah, with the grooves sounding out the notes to the famed composer’s masterpiece.
