Brisbane Airport has been thrown into chaos after a technical fault at safety compelled hundreds of individuals to be re-screened.

The fault was present in a single metallic detector on the home terminal on Monday, which delayed about 10 flights departing from for one hour or longer, in keeping with the Courier Mail.

A Brisbane Airport spokesman mentioned everybody who was contained in the terminal needed to be re-screened.

“The fault was quickly identified and there is no safety or security threat,” a spokesman mentioned.
