An award-winning Ukrainian struggle journalist who was tortured and killed whereas in Russian captivity is being honored after her dying.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky posthumously awarded Victoria Roshchyna the Order of Freedom on Saturday, for her “unwavering belief that freedom will overcome everything.”

”Viktoriia was a kind of who spoke the reality in regards to the struggle. She labored on the frontlines and in briefly occupied territories, risking her life,” Zelensky wrote on X.
