WASHINGTON — President Trump mentioned Monday he’s trying to scale back the 50-day deadline he gave Russian President Vladimir Putin to cease the battle in Ukraine to simply “10 to 12 days” from now.

“I’m going to make a new deadline of about 10 to 12 days from today,” Trump informed reporters in Scotland after assembly with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Trump mentioned he was “generous” to first give 50 days on July 14 earlier than he would levy secondary sanctions on Moscow, however “we just don’t see any progress being made.”
